Since its initiation in 2005, Random International has been researching various forms of digital interactive art with a focus on audience participation as well as doing experimental practices to explore human identity and autonomy in the post digital age.
In this solo show, Paradise Art Space presents the works of all periods in three sections: 'response: watch', 'imitation: follow', and 'object: entity stage', which enables viewers to have new perceptions and experiences about the relationship between human beings and technology.
In particular, Fifteen Points II, an artwork of 14 light points gathering to create the 15th point of walking human figure, is the largest in its series that made the first showcase at Paradise Art Space.
In addition, visitors can fully appreciate Random International’s oeuvre through a set of remarkable pieces such as Presence and Erasure which UVprints the viewer’s shape on the wall as a temporary image, and Audience, Our Future Selves, and Aspect (White) which simulate gestural motions in response to the visitor's movement.
