
Pro Ganjang Gejang was opened in September 1980 by Seo Ae-Sook, the founder, who commercialized ganjang gejang (soy sauce marinated raw crab) for the first time in Korea as the main dish of a restaurant using her secret recipe handed down in her family for generations. Made with best-quality crab from Yeonpyeong Island in the Yellow Sea and domestically caught seafood of the highest quality, the restaurant offers premium seafood dishes as well as crab dishes, including dishes with monkfish, octopus, sea bream and hairtail. The restaurant has long been a favorite of Korean celebrities and is now a new favorite of visitors from Japan, China, Southeast Asia and other countries from all over the world.
