Songwol-dong Fairy Tale Village

Songwol-dong, which was also called "Solgol" or "Songsan" due to its large number of pine trees, once lost its vitality as a village when young residents left home and it was left with old buildings. However, with recent efforts since 2013 to reinvigorate the village and improve its residential environment, flowers were planted along the streets, and paintings and sculptures on the theme of classic children's books were installed, making the Fairy Tale Village that it is today.
